Ingredients
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (with the mother).
1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder or 1 small cinnamon stick
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp raw honey (optional, for sweetness)
1 1/2 cups warm water or brewed green tea
1/4 – 1/2 cup unsweetened cranberry juice (optional, for added detox benefits)
1/2 – 1 tsp psyllium husk (optional, for fiber and digestion support)
Instructions
Prepare the Base: If you’re using yerba mate or green tea, brew it first and let it cool slightly. This will be the flavorful foundation for your detox drink.
2️⃣ Mix the Flavor Boosters: In a large glass or jar, combine the grated ginger, cinnamon, and fresh lemon juice. Stir thoroughly to help release all the vibrant flavors.
3️⃣ Add Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV): Pour in 2 tablespoons of raw apple cider vinegar (with the mother) and mix well.
👉 Tip: I personally use this trusted organic ACV for best results! If you’re new to apple cider vinegar, start with just 1 tablespoon and gradually work your way up.
4️⃣ Sweeten to Taste (Optional): If you prefer a sweeter flavor, stir in 1 teaspoon of raw honey. Adjust more or less based on your taste buds.
5️⃣ Boost with Cranberry Juice and Psyllium Husk (Optional): Add ¼ to ½ cup of pure cranberry juice for extra detox support.
If you’re using psyllium husk, mix in ½ to 1 teaspoon just before drinking.
⚡ Reminder: Psyllium thickens very fast, so drink immediately after adding!
