Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken sausage, sliced

  • 1 ½ cups orzo pasta

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 cups chicken broth

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Salt, pepper & red pepper flakes to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown sausage in olive oil; remove and set aside.

  2. Sauté garlic, then add orzo and toast 1–2 min.

  3. Add broth and simmer 10 min, stirring often.

  4. Add broccoli in the last 5 min of cooking.

  5. Stir in sausage, Parmesan, and lemon juice.
