Ingredients
• 1 lb chicken breast or thighs
• 2 Tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp smoked paprika
• Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Cook the chicken:
• In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
• Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
• Cook for 6–8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat.
2. Make hot honey:
• In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
• Warm over low heat, stirring until smooth. Don’t boil.
3. Coat the chicken:
• Toss the cooked chicken in the hot honey sauce until evenly coated and glossy.
4. Assemble the bowl:
• Add a scoop of rice as the base.
• Top with hot honey chicken, broccoli, roasted sweet potatoes, and avocado slices.
• Drizzle extra hot honey sauce on top.
5. Serve:
• Garnish with fresh herbs and enjoy warm!
