These Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls are a perfect mix of flaky, buttery crescent dough filled with sweet, gooey pecan pie filling. They make a decadent breakfast treat, holiday dessert, or an indulgent snack. The crispy edges and soft, nutty interior make every bite irresistible.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 8–10 rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup or honey

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (or more if you love nuts)

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

  2. Prepare Crescent Dough:
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Press seams gently to seal any perforations.

  3. Make Pecan Filling:
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, melted butter, corn syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, cinnamon, chopped pecans, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined.

  4. Fill the Crescents:
Spoon about 1–2 teaspoons of the pecan mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, creating a crescent shape.

  5. Bake:
Place rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly puffed.

  6. Cool Slightly & Serve:
Allow rolls to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Optionally, drizzle with a little powdered sugar glaze or extra honey for added sweetness.

Notes

  • For extra gooeyness, add a teaspoon of cream cheese to the filling.

  • Toast the pecans lightly beforehand to bring out a deeper nutty flavor.

  • These rolls are best served warm but can be reheated in the oven for 5 minutes.
